CCID AGM to be held at SunSquare

by CCID

The 17th Annual General Meeting of the Cape Town Central City Improvement District is to be held on Monday, 13 November, at Tsogo Sun’s brand new SunSquare hotel in Buitengracht Street in the CBD.

Explains CCID CEO, Tasso Evangelinos: “The event will, as always, take place in two parts.

“The first is the actual AGM, which bona fide members of the Cape Town CCID are entitled to attend. The second is a review of the CCID’s activities for the 2016/17 financial year as well as plans going forward into the 2018/19 year, which is open to CBD stakeholders who have received an invitation to attend.”

As stipulated by the City of Cape Town and the bylaw which regulates all Special Ratings Areas in the metropole, bona fide members of a city improvement district are owners of properties within that specific CID’s footprint who have officially registered as members.

“In the case of our Central City organisation and the AGM to be held on 13 November,” explains Ederies Majiet, business manager for the CCID, “this would mean that property owners who wish to attend the AGM on the 13th, and who have not yet completed membership forms, must register before Monday 6 November.”

For further information on AGM documentation or how to register as a member (if you own property in the Cape Town CCID footprint) go to www.capetownccid.org/about-ccid/about-us or e-mail ederies@capetownccid.org or call 021 286 0830.
