CCID assets undergo extensive rebranding

by CCID

Branded items belonging to the Cape Town Central City Improvement District (CCID) are getting a fresh look for 2017. This is to ensure the organisation’s assets, public information brochures and publications reflect its four individual departments, as well as the variety of different services each offers stakeholders in the CBD. The four departments’ associated logos – with catchy slogans regularly used in the form of “hashtags” via the CCID’s communications channels – are “Stay safe” (Safety & Security), “Keep it clean” (Urban Management), “Show you care” (Social Development) and “Making the place” (Communications).

The refresh of the brand will be rolled out to the CCID’s public safety and info trailers and kiosks, staff break rooms and trolleys used by it cleaners. The organisation will also be updating its communications collateral throughout the year.

This follows the 2016 refresh of all on-the-ground contracted staff uniforms.

With each department within the CCID having its own mandate and set of skills that contribute to the renewal of the Cape Town CBD, the logos were designed to reflect and promote the individual “personalities” of the departments. Developed some time ago in recognising we truly are a multifaceted company, we have begun to punt these with renewed zeal. You will now start to see these “sub-brand” logos across the CCID footprint, and this will also give members of the public peace of mind when they realise that they are in a CCID-managed area.

We started the process with our Safety & Security vehicles (pictured above) and will next be doing our Social Development van.
