For the third year in a row, the Cape Town Central City Improvement District (CCID) is surveying the population who call the CBD home, with the results each year revealing overwhelming support for the “downtown” lifestyle on offer in the area. Says CCID COO Tasso Evangelinos: “The voice of those who make use of the Cape Town Central City daily is very important to us. In this case, we’re calling on all residents who live in the CBD to take the 2015 survey. And we’d welcome everyone spreading the word: you may live here yourself or you may know someone else who does. We welcome each and every input that we get.”

The CCID came up with the idea of the residential survey in 2013 in order to assist it to develop a better understanding of exactly who lives in Cape Town's Central City area, how they utilise the area, what they do for a living and what they would like to see improved.
The survey can be taken by any person connected with residential within the specified area – whether they rent property in the area, own it and live in it, or own it for investment or holiday purposes. The exact geographical boundaries are clearly specified in the survey, and the CCID welcomes participation from anyone living or owning property within this area; ie the CCID area and streets immediately bordering on its boundaries.
An added incentive to take this survey is that there are once again three great cash prizes to be won, and winners will be contacted within two weeks of the survey closing.
First Prize: R2 000 cash (to be paid via EFT)
Second Prize: R1 000 cash (to be paid via EFT)
Third Prize: R500 cash (to be paid via EFT)
