International Day of Yoga
21 June marks the International Day of Yoga – a day that’s also recognised by the United Nations.
In the Mother City, the day will be celebrated on 16 June thanks to a collaboration by Adidas South Africa and fitness instructor Joёlle Sleebos. All yogis are invited to attend and help raise funds for the Earthchild Project.

Autumn Season for the CPO
After a rousing International Summer Music Festival and West Side Story performances, the musicians of the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra are currently in their autumn season which runs from May to June.
The four-concert season will be conducted by Conrad van Alphen and Victor Yampolsky, who will each direct two concerts. The series concludes on 21 June with an appearance by the widely acclaimed Russian cellist Alexander Buzlov.

Super Nature: An exhibition in three parts

The Winter Tots Camp

Still Figuring Out What It Means to be a Man
Taking an empathetic view of individual men, but a critical one of the oppressive system of patriarchy, this multi-media exhibition considers various aspects of manhood and masculinity in today’s South Africa.
