The Widow
This series of monologues presents a platform to investigate how widows cope after the loss of their husbands and loved ones. The monologues aim to create dialogue towards healing and recognising the pain that comes with loss.

Maher Zain Live in Cape Town
Swedish singer, songwriter and music producer, Maher Zain (who some consider as the biggest name in the Islamic Music genre) will be in town. Maher will be accompanied by his international band of musicians from Egypt, Spain, Lebanon, Belgium, Netherlands, UK as well as the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra.

Dancers Love Dogs

Zombie Walk
Take over the Central City’s streets in a fun walk for the entire family including pets. The walk aims to raise funds for local charities such as the Lucky Lucy Foundation for abused and neglected animals. It ends with an after-party at Madison Avenue on Prestwich Street.

The 2018 Fugard Bioscope World Arts Cinema Season Part 2
These bioscope screenings have proven very popular with record attendances since the first season in 2011. If you haven’t treated yourself to any of the screenings showcasing the world’s best theatre, opera and ballet, now is your chance to do so. Kewpie: Daughter of District Six
Gay & Lesbian Memory in Action (GALA) presents the personal photographic collection of Kewpie, whose given name was Eugene Fritz. Kewpie was part of a queer community in District Six from the 1950 to the early 1980s. Thus, the curated photographs and accompanying material explore Kewpie’s life and drag culture in District Six, introducing a new audience to a fascinating period of LGBTIQ+ social history, and deepening historical understanding of the diverse District Six community. In addition, the collection offers an insight into photography and self-representation in a specific time and place in history.

Cape Male Choirs Musical
This musical celebration by male choirs not only aims to foster unity and social cohesion, but it also raises funds for a good cause. Tuning the Vine #InnerCityWineRoute
If you love wine and exploring some of the trendiest Central City venues, you’ll enjoy this wine-tasting adventure as it includes moving from venue to venue while tasting some delicious South African wines.
